Why the Sources Differ
New Haven County does not operate a county jail or sheriff release roster. The Connecticut Department of Correction runs New Haven Correctional Center and other state facilities. Superior Court dockets explain many bond and discharge events, CT SAVIN or VINELink supplies participating custody notices, and Parole and Community Services may hold the next record after release. Federal releases belong in the Bureau of Prisons system. This site organizes those separate official paths, including records-request steps, without pretending that one locator contains every release.
